Hi, my name is Joanne and this is a mish mash kind of lifestyle blog, heavily focused on interior design. While doing up my own house and many rentals over the years, I have a huge interest in interior design at an affordable cost and with this interest, I have also gotten passionate about crafts, cooking and baking!

I started this blog because money for everyone these days is tight but I think you can make something look expensive  by being prudent and imaginative. I have decorated two houses now on a budget and have gotten many compliments over the years and questions as to how I did this and where I got that and really I just wanted to share my experience with a wider audience and see if anyone will benefit from what I have learned.

I hold no formal qualifications, and maybe the professionals will read it and think I don’t have a clue what I am talking about but I will let you be the judge of that….
